Jen is the groomer, bath-runner, treat-dispenser and chief belly-rub officer at MTL Canine Spa. Every appointment is one-on-one, at your dog's pace — nervous first-timers and seasoned spa-goers alike.

Dog questions
What should we bring for a first visit?
Just your dog, their leash and a quick potty break beforehand. Arrive a few minutes early so we can meet, sniff around and chat about the cut you'd like.
How long does a Full Groom take?
Usually 1.5 to 3 hours depending on size, coat and how many breaks your pup needs. We'll give you a time estimate at drop-off and a heads-up when they're nearly done.
My dog's coat is matted. What happens?
Comfort first, always. Light matting gets brushed out gently; severe matting may mean a shorter cut is the kindest option. We'll talk it through before touching the clippers.
My dog is anxious at the groomer's. Can you help?
That's our specialty. One dog at a time, no crowded kennels, plenty of breaks and treats. Tell us about your pup when you book and we'll take it slow.
How often should my dog be groomed?
Most coats do best every 4 to 6 weeks — and our loyalty program rewards exactly that: 10% off at every 4 weeks, 5% off at every 6.
